At the end of WWI the blood thirsty communists who were murdering millions and sending more millions to gulags in Russia convinced enough useful idiots in their leftist universities to start a revolution inside Germany.
They succeeded and even installed their own communist president in Bavaria where they created a new flag .... a red rectangle.
It was German military veterans who had returned home after losing WWI who rose up and fought the communists and killed their leaders.
