Jesus is brought a woman who was just caught in adulatory and under Jewish law of the time she is guilty and she must now be stoned to death. Jesus saves her from the death she deserves as he saves all of us who deserve death for our sin if we accept him and go and sin no more (repent).
After saving her he did not condemn her on the spot but instead gave her more time and warned her that for the rest of her life she must now Go and sin no more. If she continued in adulatory or any other sin it would not be tolerated or accepted ... she had to go and sin no more as Jesus commanded her and as he also commands all of us, we do not know our last moment here so we need to repent now.
