NASA now sending unmanned space craft through Van Allen belts to ensure it's safe ... didn't we go through them on every moon landing in the 60s?? What the hell is going on with NASA, lost technology to get to moon, lost the telemetry tapes and now they are going through the Van Allen belts for first time? This smells very very rotten.

NASA now sending unmanned space craft through Van Allen belts to ensure it's safe ... didn't we go through them on every moon landing in the 60s??
